I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over ten years of experience working with clients. I work with individuals and couples struggling with a variety of issues, including anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, difficult life transitions, and questions of identity. I specialize in helping clients seeking fulfillment and authenticity in their lives. I also work with those experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss and assisted reproduction (I have received additional training to provide Donor Recipient Consultations). I offer a specific focus working with men through fertility challenges in the relationship.
I believe that psychotherapy is a creative and collaborative endeavor. I strive to work with each individual client and couple to establish therapeutic goals together. My style of therapy is integrative and personal – I use elements of Jungian, psychoanalytic, relational, Gestalt, Cognitive-Behavioral and other therapies to create the best path for you and me to work effectively. As a student and practitioner of Tai Chi, Qi-Gong and other internal martial arts systems for almost 20 years, I am able to integrate movement, meditation and breathing techniques to help reduce anxiety and mitigate panic attacks.
I am also excited to offer Group Counseling to interested clients. Working in a group setting can offer a uniquely effective therapy experience, providing insight and feedback outside of the traditional client-therapist relationship.
In addition to therapy, I offer Supervision to LPC-Associates working towards licensure. I employ an inclusive and developmental approach, customizing our work together to meet your supervision needs as your experience and confidence grows
Whether you are struggling with a specific issue or are seeking a deeper sense of fulfillment in life, I encourage you to contact me so we may set up an appointment and speak further.
